Akawiyeh in Sicily (try it)

It’s a garden of cheese topped with tomato, dried thyme mix, olive oil & olives. Feels Italian doesn’t it? It looks like pizza too as how it’s served. Its (somewhere between a pizza & a mano’sheh.. we’ll let you judge it.)

A mano’sheh made of half thyme and half halloum cheese generating a mouth watering mixture and taste.

Marinated and grilled chicken breast slices with Mohammara: original Arabic chilli paste, kashkawan cheese decorated with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and garlic sauce.

The very same sojokiyeh mano’sheh but with a twist for an extra lemony-flavor, by adding dibs al rumman (extracted from pomegranate fruit).
